Buttercup Speech & Language Therapy was founded by Joanne Fine (B. Sc. Clinical Speech & Language Studies), graduate of Trinity College Dublin and member of the IASLT. Buttercup Speech & Language Therapy aims is to to bridge the ever-widening gap for children with communication difficulties on public service waiting lists and provide services for children, from infancy to adolescence, with speech, language and communication delays / disorders . These problems may occur in isolation or may be associated with other developmental delays / disorders / syndromes.

At Buttercup Speech & Language Therapy we believe that every child should develop communication skills to his/her greatest potential. Early and consistent intervention is essential for a child to become a competent communicator.

The most effective speech-language therapy approach to developing speech, language and overall communication skills will depend on factors that are unique to each client and their family.
We will support each child and family within the framework of the theapeutic approach chosen by them.

We take speech & language therapy referrals from parents, schools and allied professionals (ENT, G.Ps, Psychology, Occupational Therapy, Physiotherapy) as well as adult self-referrals.
